Biography
Pablo Barreiro (Meaño, Pontevedra, 1982). Fine Arts Degree by the University of Salamanca, ES (2010). Advanced Studies at ArCo – Art and Visual Communication Center, Lisbon, PT (2012-13).
From his recent professional activity we highlight the participation in exhibitions at the CGAC – Galician Center for Contemporary Art (Santiago de Compostela, ES), MAC – Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (Coruña, ES) and MARCO – Vigo Museum of Contemporary Art (Vigo, ES), as well the reception of the Isaac Díaz (2016) and INJUVE (2012) prizes, and artistic residencies NUOVE in 2015 and 2018 (Bassano del Grappa, IT), and a Research Residency in 2016 at the MAC – Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (Coruña, ES).
His work is represented in the following collections: CGAC – Galician Center for Contemporary Art (Santiago de Compostela, ES), DKV collection (ES), NUOVE (Bassano del Grappa, IT), Luis Sirvent Collection (Vigo, ES) as well as many other public and private collections.
