Isabel Madureira Andrade

Biography

Isabel Madureira de Andrade (1991). Born in Ponta Delgada, Azores, Andrade moved to Lisbon, where she completed both her undergraduate and master's degrees in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (2018). Between 2014 and 2016 she also attended the MArt artistic residency program in Lisbon. 

She was a finalist in the 13th Edition of the EDP Foundation New Artists Award, having been awarded an Honorable Mention (2019). 
In 2021, she received the III Millennium BCP Foundation  - Emerging Talent  - Award.

Her work is represented in several public and private collections, namely: EDP Foundation (Lisbon, PT), Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações (Lisbon, PT), Fundação PLMJ, (Lisbon, PT), Fundação Centenera (Madrid, ES), FLAD - Fundação Luso-Americana para o Desenvolvimento (Lisbon, PT), Arquipélago - Centro de Artes Contemporâneas (Açores, PT), Coleção Figueiredo Ribeiro, (Lisbon, PT) or Lisbon City Council Collection.
