Opening October 23 : “The great cloth: a daily life of linen”, an installation by Ana Pérez-Quiroga that marks the formal delivery of Vila Real's Candidacy / European Capital of Culture 2027

The installation consists of 12 long linen cloths that hang suspended from the balustrade and a large wooden table on which 29 sets of linen cloths are placed, specifically sown linen and woven in Agarez, paying homage to all the women who work the linen.
