Pedro Valdez Cardoso integrates the 2024 edition of FARRA with a solo show curated by Ricardo Escarduça, in representation of the Figueiredo Ribeiro Collection’s participation in the event.

The Alentejo Region Art Festival - FARRA is a multi- and transdisciplinary visual arts event that combines a residency programme, 30 new exhibitions, a performance programme, 10 mediation laboratories, the Talking Territory cycle, an Art Library and the publication of a catalogue. It is promoted by the Elvas Museum of Contemporary Art (MACE), the Appleton Cultural Association, Córtex Frontal and the São João da Madeira City Council - Oliva Art Centre (CAO). 

FARRA's core programme will take place between 28 June and 25 August 2024 in various spaces in the city of Elvas, which will function as extensions of the MACE, and includes 25 other entities whose collaboration is based on the presentation of exhibitions in the various extensions of the MACE.
